Daily Specials

Monday

  • Pastry Sticks: Sticks of flakey and buttery puff pastry dough filled with either Baker’s Cheese, Apricot Preserve, or Almond Paste.

Tuesday

  • Kolacky: Reminiscent of the open-faced Czech “kolache,” we make ours with baker’s cheese and yeast for a puffy, soft kolacky dough that’s not too sweet. Available in Prune, Raspberry, Apricot, or Cheese.
  • Elephant Ears: Puff pastry layered with butter and sugar then topped with icing for a flakey, crunchy, and sweet treat.
  • Apricot Graham Slices (available every other Tuesday): A Jarosch specialty, we combine butter and graham cracker crumbs for the base, add a layer of apricot preserve, crumble more graham on top, and drizzle them with icing. These slices are crumbly, buttery, and sweet with just the right amount of tang from the apricot.

Wednesday

  • Apple & Cherry Delights: Our delicious Delights are like mini strudels! We take a bit of flakey strudel dough, cover it with crystal sugar, and top it generously with scratch made Apple or Cherry filling.
  • French Donuts: The Jarosch Bakery version of the cruller. Once deep-fried, the egg whites and cake donut dough create an airy, chewy donut with a heavenly light flavor. Iced in Glaze or Chocolate.

Thursday

  • Cream Horns: As classic as they come, we shape our flakey puff pastry dough into a hollow horn. The homemade marshmallow meringue is chewy and adds just the right amount of sweetness. Finished with a touch of powdered sugar.
  • Raspberry Walnut Slices: Unique to Jarosch Bakery, our raspberry walnut slices combine cake crumbs, butter, and finely chopped walnuts for a cake-like buttery texture. A thin layer of raspberry preserves adds a sweet tanginess to the warm, nutty flavor. These were a Joe Stefans favorite!

Friday

  • Donut Holes: Cake donut dough rolled into a small ball and deep fried into the perfect breakfast finger food. Covered in Glaze, Chocolate, or Cinnamon Sugar.

Saturday

  • Apple Strudel: One of our top sellers, our classic German Apple Strudel is on special every Saturday!
  • Salt Sticks: Our Salt Sticks are made with rolled hard roll dough that has a chewy crust with a soft center. We add coarse salt and caraway seeds on top for a salty, earthy flavor.
  • Poppy Horns: For Poppy Horns, we shape our hard roll dough into a c-shaped horn and coat it generously with poppy seeds.
